International No Diet Day originated in 1992 by Mary Evans Young, a recovered anorexic and the director of a British activist group called Diet breakers. INDD was established to challenge the cultural attitudes and values that contribute to chronic dieting, weight preoccupation, eating disorders, and size discrimination.
You can learn the history of INDD at the official site.
I have partnered with the great folks at more of me to love to create a pledge to change the destructive thought “I’m so fat” to “I’m so Fab”, even if only for a day!
Sign the pledge and be entered into a raffle for a copy of the newly released book “The Fat Poets Society” and learn the Top 16 Reasons to Stop Dieting.
Download the exclusive mini-poster I created for this day.
I will keep this available online in case you want to celebrate all year long!
