Yes! Thanks for the sweet illustration that makes a very beautiful point. Where would my children find a soft place to cry without my curves!

Here from SITS. Love your illustrations. Very inspiring. WE all need to be reminded that we are more than our weight. Thanks.

Yes, why do we not celebrate curves? They are there for a reason.

On one of my posts, a list of 11 favorite quotes about women, I included this one...

Curve: The loveliest distance between two points. Mae West

Here's the other quotes if you like this one...

I completely agree with this! I had twins and even when I was a super skinny mini I could carry them both on my hips. They were like convenient little baby seats. I don't have a strong back but my God-given hips mean that I can love a lot of babies.

BTW, I'm here from SITS to celebrate YOUR day!

This blog is TERRIFIC! I am very pleased I stop by - I love your message, it's so affirmative and empowering. Those are some seriously saucy, curvy, powerful ladies you're creating. I am definitely bookmarking to be back and will spread the word.

This little verse is exactly how I feel - when I had children I realised that's why, so they could sit there in comfort :-) No matter how skinny I was as a child, I've always been a hippy chick. And loving it!
