I never let my size
determine the shape of my dreams!
© excerpt from “More to Love“
Go get a piece of paper.
Make a list of every single thing that you wanted to be when you grew up.
( Yes, even rockstar! )
Get another piece of paper.
Make a list of every single thing that you would love to be now, as an adult.
(Go crazy: list real careers, fantasy dream jobs, volunteer work. )
One more piece of paper.
Make a list of every single thing that you would do if you had enough money.
(Anything at all, as long as it is what you want to do, not what you should do.)
Now take a long, hard look at these lists.
Is there anything on the lists, anything at all, that absolutely requires you to lose weight in order to do, have or be what you wrote?
Cross it off the list!
What remains on these lists are your dreams, past and present.
The challenges to making your dreams come true may be time, money, opportunity, determination, talent, focus and training (and maybe some luck!)
Your size, however, does not determine the shape of your dreams!
Extra Credit Activity: A Reality Check
List every single talent that you have, common or unusual.
Add every single skill you know, easy or difficult.
Now add every single accomplishment you’ve made, small or large.
Congratulate yourself for already being so fabulous!
Go pick a dream. Make it come true!

I want those boots in real life!
Oh so true! I’m dreamin on!
Thank you!
You are truly wonderful!
So true, what a great way to define your dreams and feel better about yourself. I love lists. I make lists all the time.
Congrats on your SITS day!
Very eye opening! There is nothing that can stop our dreams except ourselves.
This is a great idea. Off to make my lists!
Cheers

How right you are! Dreams do not have anything to do with size, do they?
Thanks,
Sarah Baron
PS Congrats on your SITS day!
The size of the dream matters more than anything else …
how aptly said ..

Lists- now there is an assignment I can get into! Thanks for the encouragement.
You go, girl! I’ve always said, “The size of the woman is not the measure of the woman!” when folks make remarks about weight. You have the absolute perfect attitude. Contiue living your life to the fullest and sharing with us! Happy SITS day!

That is Awesome! I almost wanted to cry thinking about it! And to think that lately I’ve been dwelling about how unhappy I am with my current weight. Instead I think I will dwell only on my dreams!! Thanks for putting a smile on my face! xo

Hey, Elizabeth!
I just stumbled across your web site and wanted to show some love. I really like it here and think it’s a wonderful message you are sending out to your readers. BRAVO! Women can learn so much about how to feel good by stopping by and I wish you continued success.
I am also a HUGE fan of making lists and I like the ones you’ve thought up here. Sometimes it’s just nice to sit back and reflect on all the positives that we have going on
