9 out of 10 ain’t bad!

This week’s “sounds easy” hard-to-do idea:
Count blessings, not problems.
Remember that its OK to exaggerate some of the good things in life,
because we need to make up for all the times we’ve exaggerated the bad!

I had just blogged about how I was getting glass-half-empty lately and I wrote a list of things I was happy about or thankful for and it sure made me realize that overall life is pretty darn good and I shouldn’t complain.

I love this illustration! What a beautiful woman. And the “shine list” is a great idea.
Thanks, Kathy! I thought it was time to show a pretty, curvy woman with silver hair, so I am glad you like her.
I am so sick of everyone complaining about things all of the time!its great to see your encouragement to remember (And even exaggerate!) the good things in our lives. I think I’ll go make a not-shit list today…
Great reminder of what matters! Thanks, Elizabeth.
My favorite way to count my blessings is the alphabet list. Thanks for posting a positively uplifting meme.
This is a great list and something we should all keep in mind. It’s so easy to get discouraged, but it’s nice to look on the bright side of life. Thanks for this! I also love the illustrations that accompany your blog posts
I am trying to focus more on the shine & less on the sh*t. Not always easy but definitely changes the way I see the world around me
Fantastic list. I admit, I tend to focus on the bad.
Happy SITS Saturday Sharefest!

Thank your for the positive message..I like the shine list!
I love this list! I especially love that crossing off the last one isn’t really a negative. I like being curvy. Shoot, we could make #10 be “Have a voluptuous, sensual figure” and I’d be 10 for 10!
Have an Extraordinary Day!
10 for 10! Sometimes its all in how you word things. Unfortunately, we often list things we think of as “flaws” instead of things we regard as assets!
Who needs the 10th when you’ve got all nine. Love your blog.
