revolution: a dramatic and wide reaching change in the way something works or is organized, or in people’s ideas about it.
There is a groundswell of women worldwide who are fed up with the marketing that trains us, from little girls onward, to hate our bodies.
We are tired of feeling like we are not good enough!
It’s breaking our hearts that even little girls think they are flawed, fat, ugly.
There are a growing number of women whose work as writers, researchers, therapists, counselors, activists, artists, mothers, bloggers and business owners is focused on healing this modern problem.
The Body Image Revolution is free online July 17-29.
12 speakers from various professional backgrounds answer this question:
If you hate your own body, how can you love your life?
Call in, listen and participate!
I will be interviewed and answer questions
Tuesday, July 21, 7 pm EST.
It’s free to listen and communicate with all twelve speakers.
And if you can’t make the scheduled time, recordings are available too!

Let’s change our minds about ourselves, let’s help our daughters learn another way.
If enough of us fight back, even just a little bit,
perhaps we change change the larger culture that creates this negativity!
ps: go look in the mirror, right now, and smile at your own magnificent self.

What a wonderful thing to be a part of. Can’t wait to hear your answers!
I love the art work!!!
Stopping by from SITS and your post made me tear!
My daughter who is like 65 lbs wet at 10 years old, sometimes pinches her stomach and says she’s fat! The media, our society, heck – even our overly critical family members all think we’re too big for our own good. It’s sad but I would love to listen in!
